dat Pink Mesh Shirt tho~ I've been looking for a mesh shirt for years & every time I find one in a thrift store it's badly torn up. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this pink one. In RL it's a most lish poppin pink. I think I'm gonna have fun pullin thread thru the holes to create shapes n words n junk.

I recently made a "Loser Rank" pink heart applique and I think this lush lav sweater shirt I found will be purf fur it.

I so heart pokemon. While people are playing the newest one I'm buying the original starters ;p I totes set my intention to get beanies this season & here it is November *&*I'm already set. I will be brave enuff to cut holes for my twin tails into one of these beanie hats.

Is he a bat penguin hybrid? I dunno, but he's bad ass. This clutch is hella nice; real leather and canvas with the strap attached to the zipper pull. Poor Badtz was put into many a brown color scheme, making this an even more fab find. He's even got his posse on this pastel print!
 I die.

~*This last thing is actually the very *first* item I discovered. Just days before I'd been wanting this particular candy fragrance by this brand, so when I spotted that familiar shape in the distance I was like, "no way!" and then I got closer & could see by the back that it was totes Juice Bar! I was so excited as I picked it up and turned it around...Oh, My, GUMMY BEARs*!!!!* It's even a completely full tester*!*~
Goes great with my candy baby, cotton candy, and frosted cupcake mists.

This is my first thrift outing since my roommate's work schedule changed.

Royal Wedding Princess Pony Photoshoot

On the day of my birthday party I did a fun photoshoot with the ponies I won in Lady Brooklyns's raffle. Not edited, yet? Don't know how to fix red-eye. The Royal Wedding special was craze amaze. It was like Sailor Moon & Kingdom Hearts had Lauren Faust's My Little Pony baby *&* it blew my meye-nd.

4 Sun is a Pinkin Perfect Day for Manifesting

Today we have special plans to use my build a bear Birthday Coupon to make a purple Hello Kitty. After our V-day fiasco at BAB we learned not to wait til my birthday to go get her made. It's pretty warm out & a special trip to the mall calls for a bit of an outfit.
PLUS it's official ~*Thriftday*~

I started to get a headache as soon as we got gas near home, so didn't actually get to have sight all day. Taking them off ASAP seemed to help the headache tho. It kept aching intensly for bbrief random moments when I turned or looked to the right all thru the day.
I looked at every purple Hello Kitty they had to select *THE* very best one *&* I found her*!*
The lady who stuffed her told me she'd watched me lookin thru all of the bodies, so I explained I was looking for the best tye dye feet. Some of them were muddy & I got the only one there with pink on bo-oth feetsies. She hadn't even thought to look at hers, but in her defense she has over 100 bears from work at her house, lol. My new sunnies are from Sunglass Warehouse & I waited for a super sale to get em for 7 bux~whoo~hoo.

I carried my kitty around all day & she had purple lumpy company in the car. For some reason, LSP kept beating her about the face....uh, jelluss much???

I was actually just looking for nice straps to harvest from a packpack, but once I unearthed this sparkly pony princess pack from a heap of bags I realized the 'verse had other plans. Her tail is real pony hair in 3 diff colors*!* No way I'm cuttin these straps off.

OMG, any trip where I thrift Little Mermaid stuff is awesome, but this piece is esp gorgeous*!* It's a rubbery & indestructable sculpt of an alurring Ariel, but it also takes batteries. Don't know what it does yet, but I'm sure I'll love it even more.

The only ingredient for dye baths I've been missing is the stainless steel tub. How fab is it that wal mart has some for 5 bux each?! As soon as we got home I bubble, bubbled, toiled, and troubled myself with finding out all the whites I no longer like & givin' em the DIP. So far, so good.

Create Day

This cutie has been a long time in the making. My bf just drilled holes in all my bear ears last Sunday, but alas it's still not done. :P When it came time to add a clasp I realized I have none! I'm really happy with how it turned out tho. I'm just getting the hang of making connector beads with wire.

Remember I fell in lurv with the mini Barbie pegs?! Well, I have fakies*!* And have had since before Xmas, ahah. They got a little lost in my cluttered room/life. My perched pegasi features hand-ruffled manes & chenille tails + a magic spell that makes them perch on your shoulder. Their eyes need work: either a gem, pastel google eye with lash, or repainting(that's tuff for me tho). I've been feeling so stellar~ I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see my ideas finally brought into being ^-^

The one on the right is my first & the one on the left is my second. The yarn I'm using is a gradient pastel rainbow, except for the stark purple bits: I like it better as two-tone like my first one, so I may change the tail on the second gal. It was kind of just a test to see how much yarn I could actually get in there, lol.

Review of sassyNpunk Boutique

They had a sale not too long ago & I decided to purchase a pastel bat clip & a Sailor Jupiter ring.

I wouldn't call this pastel. It's a light purple. I was expecting it to look like the lavender star beads of fairy kei fame. Color aside the bat adhered to the clip is pliable, so to open/use the clip warps the wings. It also has rough edges...I guess you can't really file or sand soft resin, so that kinda makes sense. The good news is it'll be easy for me to scrape along to edges to at least correct the outline of the bat.

Here's a picture I took of my beads next to my bat clip-the bat looks, to me, worlds apart from the truly pastel star beads. It has so much of a gray quality...ick.

I know that if I were describing this item the word I'd use is, "olive green" or army green mayhap. The item is no longer available on the site, but it looked green yellow. Color aside, tho, the sticker is positioned crookedly under what appears to be more not fully cured resin...this time with bubbles. The ring only fits on my pinky fingers: that was not shocking & I'd fully prepared myself for it, assuming I'd be chopping off the ring part & putting it on my own nickle free ring blanks.

I've already found the silver lining ^-* It *neeeds* cover, so cabs & lace trim will fight this ugly olive in the name of the MOon...(?_?)oh, I mean, fashion~yes*!* Fashion.


Do I have anything good to say about my experience? Well, the packing was cute.

But it was also pretty infuriating to get into, being that bubble wrap was taped very tightly around each item in the paper bubble lined mailer. And they stapled reclosable zip bags shut with their little shop name paper over the top(opening), so even THAT little bag had to be sliced into. There were 2 staples in the bag holding the bat clip & the metal staple dragged across my bat as I was getting it out, scratching it.

I'll tell you what good I've taken away from this experience was! It made me feel super awesome about myself & everything I sell on my etsy & about the practices of sellers I've purchased things from. I've not ever been so misled nor been so misleading. I know that all monitors display color differently & how hard it can be to capture the colors of items, so I do my very best to photograph well & will always describe the color to the best of my ability using terms we're pretty much all familiar with. I've never been contacted or otherwise called out for misrepresentation.

I won't be shopping there again.
