Sunday Adventure Time

So, I wasn't feelin tops. My mood was great, but my energy was low. And I totes forgot thrift stores are closed Sundays. We woke up and left the house right away. I'd picked out my clothes the night before.

We went to Kohl's cuz it was right next to a closed shop & using a coupon I got in my email during a super SUPER sale we saved over 100 bux.

We hit a dollar store for drinks for Sean & picked up some solid color shoe laces as well. I'm such lace whore--der.

As it turns out Goodwill was open Sunday despite what their website said. We went to the filthiest one we know of. But our positive energies combined we had a great time & scored with some great finds. A second chance given was well-rewarded. The place was still messy, gross, and dimly lit, but it didn't smell like vomit this time*!*

Last on our list we went to a TRU farrr away to see what all they had. Cuz it's like the dumping ground for warehouse clean-outs. They actually had Regular Show  6 inch figures, so Seanie is in heavs ya know. I got a doll of Sam from iCarly, from the special they had where she and Carly wear all purple & hav lavender hair. It was 2 bux, dude.

I was like balling up in pain thru TRU or there'd have been a P0P-Up shoot. But I'll tell ya bout that later, cuz we are deffy goin back.

♡ミ Quickie Thrift Trip ♡ミ

I didn't sleep last night, so I was certainly up for an outing. We had planned to go out, so I picked my clothes out while I was not sleeping last night.

Sean was going to pick up a specific item at the thrift store and to get a few groceries while he was out.It's nice to get out of the house and spend time with my boifrind.

At 9AM it's already like 80 degrees out. I am super ready for fall *and* Halloween. If I felt better I'd have a Halloween in July party for shore!

Sean has work and we have to get groceries after shopping, so it was just an in and out right quik kinda shopping experience. I had a great time and got huge huggles from my fave lady even tho it's not Thursday. Guess she works Tuesday too ^_^ I'd never been on a Tuesday before, I don't think. So fun*!*

Ya don't have to get a ton of stuff when you go thrifting. If there's even one fabulous find then you'll know how good a creator you are. I didn't have any one thing I was intended to find today. If anything I wanted Weezie to be workin *&* she totes was. Wanna see what icing I am worthy of on my day cake?!?

After grocery shopping and bein out in the heat I was so sleepy. I came home and lay down with my kitties. At 5 ish I woke up with a Bon Bon on my front. My dreams were great, too. I was looking at show accurate outfits for my Sailor Mars doll and I attended a movie screening that Eric Northman was at. He was in a Batman movie with Mr. Freeze...it was all really fantastical.

Ahead of me is a night of TV. Pretty Little Liars, Craft Wars, Bad Girls Club, and more. {yay} Follow me at getglue and marvel at the massive amount of television I watch. Aside from the stickers it's great, cuz I spend a lot of time veggin in bed to TV alone & getglue makes the experience much less lonely and losery feelin. I'm not always up to sharing my thoughts about the show I'm watching, but I feel well received when I do.

4 Sun is a Pinkin Perfect Day for Manifesting

Today we have special plans to use my build a bear Birthday Coupon to make a purple Hello Kitty. After our V-day fiasco at BAB we learned not to wait til my birthday to go get her made. It's pretty warm out & a special trip to the mall calls for a bit of an outfit.
PLUS it's official ~*Thriftday*~

I started to get a headache as soon as we got gas near home, so didn't actually get to have sight all day. Taking them off ASAP seemed to help the headache tho. It kept aching intensly for bbrief random moments when I turned or looked to the right all thru the day.
I looked at every purple Hello Kitty they had to select *THE* very best one *&* I found her*!*
The lady who stuffed her told me she'd watched me lookin thru all of the bodies, so I explained I was looking for the best tye dye feet. Some of them were muddy & I got the only one there with pink on bo-oth feetsies. She hadn't even thought to look at hers, but in her defense she has over 100 bears from work at her house, lol. My new sunnies are from Sunglass Warehouse & I waited for a super sale to get em for 7 bux~whoo~hoo.

I carried my kitty around all day & she had purple lumpy company in the car. For some reason, LSP kept beating her about the face....uh, jelluss much???

I was actually just looking for nice straps to harvest from a packpack, but once I unearthed this sparkly pony princess pack from a heap of bags I realized the 'verse had other plans. Her tail is real pony hair in 3 diff colors*!* No way I'm cuttin these straps off.

OMG, any trip where I thrift Little Mermaid stuff is awesome, but this piece is esp gorgeous*!* It's a rubbery & indestructable sculpt of an alurring Ariel, but it also takes batteries. Don't know what it does yet, but I'm sure I'll love it even more.

The only ingredient for dye baths I've been missing is the stainless steel tub. How fab is it that wal mart has some for 5 bux each?! As soon as we got home I bubble, bubbled, toiled, and troubled myself with finding out all the whites I no longer like & givin' em the DIP. So far, so good.

I traveled to a Jo-Ann's far far from the one I frequent hoping to find better energy. And not only was energy better: product was too. It took forevs to find everything cuz the place was huge and foreign, but the trip went splendidly.

The focus of my day was supposed to be supplies for shipping & creating, but the craft store was *right* next to a thrift store & dollar store. You know me*!~i can't resist dollar stores. The quick thrift did yield some cutie p0p things & the dollar store was an AllStar score*!*

There was no sunlight yesterday, so the pictures are less than, I feel.

First up is this vest which I plan on bleaching (hooray for rainless weather...coming soon I hopes, haha) and coloring to kewt perfexion.

Thrift Outing: 6 Serendipitous Finds *&* Mystery BONUS *???*

We headed out early this morning to Savers, who is having a sale today on all clothing long sleeved. I'm in the process of manifesting a great white wind-breaker(totes pahlain & boring) for my gramma. I'm stoopid excited about getting her one cuz all my life she's been asking me if I have a coat or need a coat & buying them for me even if I don't need one cuz Gramma just lurvs tah *shop* with me.

Oh, lol, there's a reason they're called Thriftdays in the book of Melee. _no windbreakers_ploop.

^-^Scanning the toys there were 3 bby G3 (one even a peg!) in 3 diff bags lumped in with a bunch of other junk. 3 bux a p-p-pony pop wouldn't be so bad- I just hate the way they make you buy junk. Mayjurr reason I don't make Savors a regular stop. *but* there were a few cute things I couldn't resist.

I may be painting these lavender, but I like them as they are. but ; Prolly cuz they're so much like the docs I have. Do you think I should paint them lavender? I think it goes with everything & every style, even red & black. I have at least 3 pairs of black boots.

Gramma got those docs for me in high school after my mom refused to cuz they were too expensive. I didn't care that they were Doc Martins~I cared they fit well, were comfy, and looked good. I craze picky bout mah shoes. The deal was I could have them if I wore them & 10 years later I still do. I never got around to painting the other sole with black fabric paint...i do ever so adore asymmetry in my shoes.

I actually headed over to VHS with Lexi Bee & my mom in mind. Lexi has me *so* curious about Zenon. I've never seen it*!* Hard to buhleeve, but my life didn't always involve so much TV watching. But I remember seeing an ad for it and being inspired by it enuff to sketch out spacey fashions. And my mom is on the lookout for yoga tapes. Instead of Y or Z I found this*!* It's my gramma's favorite movie and I've got plenty of VCRs to get her set up at the home. I got it on DVD for her, but she refused to accept that technology, lol. Came for Gramma & scored a loverly consolation prize. I'm so happy*!*

Not unlike a Girlscout I earned this for cutting Sean's hair yesterday. He's been asking me to do it for weeks, but a task such as that requires acute awareness & (tehee) perfect timing. He's completely pleased. The face is wider than my wrist~ xD it's AwEsOmE*!!*

But the fact that it's soops hev *&* rattles weird makes it a fun mystery, too*!*
